This is a single piece of natural Kashmir ruby (unheated). It was originally 370 carats, but after cleaning it in the acid, the weight after was 330 carats.

We are going to heat this piece. To improve color and transparency. Keep posted for the results.

Rare Rutilated Topaz

We have just finished cutting 2 rare pieces of rutilated Topaz. They are colourless and have very beautiful inclusions (Rutile) in them. The one on the left is 402 carats and one on the right is 192 carats. If anyone has any interest in them, please contact us. They are truly rare collectors item. Also please note, that this is Topaz, not Quartz.

Beijing Gems and Jewellery Exhibition in November 2010

We exhibited in the Beijing Gems & Jewellery exhibition held on 11-15 November 2010 at CIEC. We had a good number of visitors and Sapphires were in good demand along with Rubelites and Pink Tourmalines. China is a new growing market with great potential.
