We will be participating in the coming Hong Kong Gems & Jewellery Exhibition. Our booth is 3B337 (Hall 3), and is held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre from 23-26 June 2011. Shanghai Exhibition Participation

We will be participating in the coming Jewelry Shanghai (Gems & Jewellery Exhibition in Shanghai). Our booth is 2F46, and is held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 16-19 June 2011. Rare Rutilated Topaz

We have just finished cutting 2 rare pieces of rutilated Topaz. They are colourless and have very beautiful inclusions (Rutile) in them. The one on the left is 402 carats and one on the right is 192 carats. If anyone has any interest in them, please contact us. They are truly rare collectors item. Also please note, that this is Topaz, not Quartz.

Beijing Gems and Jewellery Exhibition in November 2010

We exhibited in the Beijing Gems & Jewellery exhibition held on 11-15 November 2010 at CIEC. We had a good number of visitors and Sapphires were in good demand along with Rubelites and Pink Tourmalines. China is a new growing market with great potential.

Emeralds from Zambia

We have built a collection of Emeralds with single stones and layouts. We have anything from 1 carat sizes to over 100 carat sizes in nice qualities in various shapes such as octagon, cushions, ovals, pears and rounds. These Emeralds are from Zambia and are not treated except oiled with cedar oil. If you have any inquiries in single stones, pairs or layouts, we can surely have something for you or cut it. 

Demantoid Garnet

We have a new collection of Demantoid Garnet. This is a relatively hard gemstone, 6.5 on the Mohs scale and refractive index higher than a diamond, therefore more fire. We have matching pairs in rounds, ovals, cushions, hearts, etc. Sizes available are from 5mm - 7mm rounds, 6x4 - 9x7 ovals, etc.

White Sapphire, cheaper replacement for Diamond

At the times of recession and recovery, consumers are price conscious. Therefore jewellery manufacturers and retailers need to adapt to the situation and market lower priced items. White Sapphire is an excellent replacement for diamonds. Hardness of White Sapphire is 9 on the mohs scale, while diamonds is 10. Clashes in Bangkok affecting shipments/orders

Recent escalated clashes between red shirt protesters and the government have restricted movement for a lot of people in Bangkok, thus creating delays in shipments/orders processed in Bangkok.


Lots of main roads, public transports, business centers are closed, and this has caused people to stay indoors. We will try our best to process the current orders and will ship out as soon as possible. If you have further questions, do contact us.

Launch of New Website for Rings

A new project for engagement rings, wedding rings, annivarsary rings has been launched. This launch is of the website http://www.engagement-wedding-ring.com. This site will cater to the end user to deliver to them the best value and unquestionable craftsmanship from designing to the making of their ring.

Quality, value, personalisation and exclusivity are the core aspects of this project and thus the end user should be confident regarding their purchase. Russian and Chinese Market for Gemstones

Russia and China are 2 very rapidly growing markets for colour gemstones. Consumers are very interested in colour gemstones, particularly in China where they believe it could bring good health and good luck.

These 2 wealthy nations have high demand, but custom procedures are strict and complicated. Taxes and VAT are very high like 8% and 17% for China and 20% and 18% for Russia respectively. Major Cities in China with high trade volumes in gemstones are Panyu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and for Russia are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Kostroma.
